Hi all.
This week Asus released W7 drivers for some eeepc netbooks like 1000HE. I wonder if Asus didn't released drivers for 901 because the small hard drive or because others hardware issues.
Could be interesting to compare 901 hardware with 1000HE for example so we can use W7 drivers. Are chipset, vga, camera, etc the same between both models?
Thanks all.

There's a list of Windows 7 drivers for the 901 here:

the VGA driver says not found. My Windows 7 screen is black when I boot and I can't find a driver!

take the driver from my thread. I updated the link, and that intel vga driver works!
(dont forget to install it in safe mode)
don't worry about the new asus drivers, they are not that much newer / spectacular, and don't all work on the 901 anyway. (for example: superhybridengine 2.09 gives a bios error. Just use the 1.18 from my thread, works perfect)
the links in my thread are to the newest drivers which work on the 901 (a lot of the links are newer then on the asus 901 support site!)
the thing we are all still waiting for ofcourse, is a intel vga driver which supports the 1024x768 AND aero.
Come on Asus, you can do it! ![]()

Thanks very much for your answers. I think W7 (at least RC) runs very smooth on my 901 and i'm going to install retail version this week.
Thanks again.

BirdBird is right. Use the drivers from his thread works 100 % with W7 on eee 900 and 901 !
For 900 use 915gma drivers for xp. DL from intel www site. U get 1024x768 compressed mode on 900. Install from device manager.
