Hi,
I broke my whole upper part include LCD panel yesterday on my beloved 1008ha....
Is there any replacement I can buy??? Ive searched but couldnt find anything except panel itself..
I already disassembled whole upper part..

you can send it back to asus, they will charge you for it.

If you took it apart, why not look up the P/N of the panel?

do they sell the whole upper part? I dont want to pay them to repair which I can do myself if I have replacement parts.

asus will not just sell you the parts, it will includes parts and labour.

Rightnow I just use my desktop lcd monitor hooked up to broken 1008ha.
How much do they normally charge?

when manufacturers charge for repairs, they don't normally consider the market value of the product...
and will charge the parts out at whatever they've chosen to charge for them. (again these don't always equate to the products retail price)
