Sounds like a corrupt registry or a bad mix of old system files and new system files. Try right-clicking on the desktop, hit 'properties' and change the theme to Windows XP to see if you can get the Fisher-Price look back.

I tried several themes now and it looks just the same, tried to upgrade to firefox 3,5 the newest one, and it still looks the same, for example on the youtube site the youtube logo doesnt show up (but i can click it), says its a "picture". I also found out really quick I dont like the new firefox with all its suggestions.
I Installed Java, Quicktime and Flash, no change.
Tried installing google chrome, now almost everything looks normal, almost. But I dislike it even more than the new firefox so i cant use it.
It must be something related to graphics I guess, not related to the browser of choice. I have never experienced this problem before on any of my computers, and i have reinstalled them probably 50 times or so allinall.![]()

Do you get the problem if you're connected via Ethernet and not wireless?

Yes unfortunately it looks just the same, tried to adjust stuff in the contents-settings menu, -> the text and colors menu, ->let pages use their own colors instead of my settings, its marked yes. But it looks just the same.

Do you have images/javascript enabled?
Did you try running firefox in safe mode?

Yes and yes, I actually tried everything they suggest on all sites related to mozilla, and double checked. i think its a problem with my installation of the machine.

Do you have Ad Block Plus installed on FireFox? I do, and it makes the blog section of this web site look similar to the deal you're having. But when I disable/uninstall it, everything goes back to as it should be.

He tried other browsers, so it's not adblock.

I have tried 5 browsers, chrome, firefox old and the newest, opera and safari, and old explorer, it looks like that with the old explorer and both firefox, the rest looks normal, If i change my xp theme to lets say one with a black background it goes black instead of white, Ive tried all fixes and I literally mean all i could find that could be even remotely related to this at the different firefox user/help/developer/support forums

all settings are good, tried to remove and install it several times while not forgetting to remove anything. Tried failsafe mode with everything turned off (I didnt have any plugins, new installation), really strange problem this. Gonna do a new installation in a few days just gotta see what programs I can actually run on this computer (music production related). Then i deciede what to load it with.
