Solved mouse problem!
I have copied the eeebuntu wiki solution for xorg.conf. Only the touchpad section:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"
Driver "synaptics"
Option "SendCoreEvents" "true"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Protocol" "auto-dev"
Option "HorizScrollDelta" "0"
Option "MaximumTapTime" "200"
Option "ClickTime" "50"
Option "VertTwoFingerScroll" "1"
Option "HorizTwoFingerScroll" "1"
Option "VertEdgeScroll" "0"
Option "HorizEdgeScroll" "0"
Option "SingleTapTimeout" "400"
Option "FastTabs" "0"
Option "VScrollEmuOff" "1"
Option "VertScrollDelta" "80"
Option "SHMConfig" "1"
Option "CircularScrolling" "1"
Option "CircScrollTrigger" "8"
Option "CircScrollDelta" "0.14"
Option "TapButton3" "2"
Option "TapButton2" "3"
EndSection
Now the touchpad is ok
Waiting for the final iso
Thanks again
I forget to explain you need to change the second line
Identifier "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad"
for the correct identifier
That´s all

There are fluxflux-sl (Slackware based, Openbox desktop) and lin2go-lts (Slackware based, KDE desktop). No other projects!

Fluxflux,
Of course, yes I know!
I am asking about your lin2go-lts-kde distro...
In other answer you explain it is a developmental distro, without the eeepc-scripts...
This is my question...how are the lts-kde distro in relation to eeepc scripts? I answer you about the conexion to wireless Ralink st2869 that was ok with and without encryption but the keys-function don´t work. You answer me it was a developmental distro aqnd until the next edition it is working without the scripts.
I am asking you about lt-kde new edition.
The problem with the touchpad was fixed

fluxflux-sl also uses the new kernel since the last two available ISOs, rt2860 and touchpad are fixed!
lin2go-lts will be available the next two weeks with the eeePC-ACPI-scripts included (as in fluxflux-sl), may be there will be a new snapshot the next days ...

Ok
It works but... without wep encryption!
Other problem: if I clic fn+f2 (to on/off wireless) the asus eeepc 901 hangs...all keys are not working and I need to hard-reboot.
I know it is a bug with kernel 2.6.30??

Just disconnect the running WLAN connection in wicd and then use Fn+F2 and it will work. This is a bug in the rt2860sta driver, we have a patch for it, but not yet included ...
WEP encryption is working fine here with a rt2860 WLAN ... strange ...

eeepc-control: No, because it would be neccessary to change all ACPI scripts. I think everything is available in fluxflux-sl too ...

i have a question, what is the install size of fluxflux, i was looking at it and it looks real nice and feels really stable, but size is important to me and i need it to be a max of 2gb, is that asking too much?
Offline
The default installation size with all packages is about 2,7 GB.
You can remove unneeded packages/stuff to shrink the system to 2 GB (openoffice, gimp, unneeded libraries, burning software, multimedia applications).
Thomas.
P. S.: Based on Slackware 12.2 it is stable. I use it since March and never had problems with stability, neither in livemode nor in installed mode ...

Hi fluxflux
No news about "new" flux-flux sl distro with new kernel to solve the bug about Fn+F2 keys and wireless panic in the eeepc 901?
Thanks

The KDE version is in development, Quax is the developer, he has some other projects to finish in his profession first ...
WLAN and eeePC 901: the problem is related to the sourcecode, there is a bug in other distributions too with new kernels, I don't know if this problem can be fixed, because there are 901-users without problems and other with problems, it depends on the used AP as far as I know from users.
