Re: BIOS 1004 - Support Win7 OS

Ok now I can, not angry anymore

Well I upgraded to 1004 version, after reboot asus ACPI gave up a error message, every time I close the message it appeared again.

So I tried to reverse the update to 0902 bios, well asus update program did not work too.

Well after 1 hour of problems I could put the 902 bios back...

I gues when 1004 bios is used the system correctly recognizes windows 7, and when it does that the ACPI and Super hibrid engine stop working because it knows the system is incorrect, just a guess....

Re: BIOS 1004 - Support Win7 OS

transitioned to Windows 7 Home Premium, and so far everything is flawless.  Didn't 'install' bluetooth as it has worked perfectly with the OS installed one.  Used the latest/newest XP driver for the elantech pad, since it has no Windows 7 driver, otherwise installed everything in the 'Windows 7' section of the Asus downloads (including 1004).  Easy install and absolutely everything works great... update: the new elantech drivers are on the Asus site as well
