hard disk usage of various Fedora's?

Do any of you Fedora folks know how much hard disk is eaten up by a base installation of

- Fedora 11 XFCE
- Fedora 12 XFCE (still in beta)
- Fedora 12 LDXE (still in beta)

A rough figure is enough.

Also is there plan to have Fedora 12 remix w/ Moblin as an iso (not download Moblin and add it in)?  If so, does anyone
know how much (approximately) hard disk the base installation will take?  In specific will it be small and tailored to the eee?

Re: hard disk usage of various Fedora's?

I'm running a trimmed-down Fedora 11, using XFCE desktop.  It takes about 2.7 GB with OpenOffice installed.

EEE 900 w/ 4GB SSD, 2GB RAM, Fedora 11, 8GB SDHC for /home and yum cache, /tmp, /var/log & /var/tmp in tmpfs. = 45 seconds from cold to logged-in desktop.

Re: hard disk usage of various Fedora's?

Running Fedora 12 Gnome , without OpenOffice, not trimmed , and it's only 2.6 GB.
The packages are smaller, as they have been switched from gzip to xz (lzma). Yum is really faster than in previous releases, with the presto plugin enabled by default (deals only with delta-rpms and not whole rpms anymore); so it's gettinng near to Synaptic speed.

Re: hard disk usage of various Fedora's?

Thank for the responses.  You think there is a difference in LXDE and XFCE (especially for the eee)?
Or is it better to wait for a Moblin version to come out.  [Alternatively, I could wait for small footprint
ubuntu-derivatives to come out - should be out this month (I need Fedora-based or Ubuntu-based distro
for Dragon NaturallySpeaking via Wine).]
