Unable to mount: Sony NWZ-X1050 Walkman

Hey guys,

Maybe someone could help out. I'm having trouble mounting my sony walkman on debian lenny. It mounts fine on windows and stock xandros but I can't mount it on debian. I see a sony icon under computer but when I try clicking on it, it says unable to mount, no media on disk, which is weird because it's nearly full of music. I already tried formatting the player and plugging it back in to no avail.

What I don't get is why it works flawlessly on Xandros, which is Debian based but not this Debian.

I'm totally stumped. I'm contemplating putting another distro on usb just so I can use the player with this computer but it's terribly cumbersome and I'd really rather do everything with what I already have.

Any tips or insights?

regards,

lorsban
