My order from advanced to easiest:
1. Lightweight desktop fluxbox, lxde, etc
2. Ubuntu NBR, xandros
3. Moblin
I feel that Moblin takes the place of things that have an ubuntu NBR like experiences. Moblin is very easy to use and understand even for the most novice user.
