what means t91mt ?

My guess would be multi-touch since I remember hearing about shipping the t91 with a multi-touch screen with 7.

Thanks, that makes sense.

Everything I have heard about W7 stated that "Starter" would not be available in the US.

I think you are confusing Vista and Win 7. Netbooks will have Win 7 starter edition. Vista starter edition was not available in the US.

...Microsoft chief Steve Ballmer said people who buy a netbook with the Starter Edition of Windows 7 will be offered the opportunity to trade up to a more fully featured version of that operating system.

Manufacturers may install Starter but we will not be able to purchase Starter is how it goes I think.

It doesn't say exactly when but the 1000HE will be discontinued next year. . . let's hope next year's models aren't a let down, Acer has already exceeded Asus in netbook sales though that did hurt Acer's Notebook sales. They're still going to have to be pretty aggressive next year if they hope to make up for this year and there is no telling how well the CULV models will be received. . .

Would the 12" Ion eeepc be the Ion lite version?
Offline
Going by price point, probably, the Samsung 510 for example is going to be ION Lite for the same price range. While the Lenovo S12 Ion will be a bit higher priced. . .

So is it definite that the 10in touchscreen is being released. There was news it would not because of poor 9in sales. But of course, that 9in is ****. Low processor no bt, 0.3mp camera WOW amazing deal. If the 10in has those same specs which they said it would than i may as well get the 12in since that will have 720p resolution.
Unless you have some insider information?

This makes me feel better; I was not sure whether or not to buy my 1005ha on the grounds a new model will be out soon. The new model appears only to offer a bigger hard drive and Windows 7 starter edition, which are not something I would have waited for.
That’s the problem with net books, ASUS in particular, is knowing the best model at the best time to buy.

Yup, some companies keep it so tight lipped that you have to wait till it's on their website before you know there is a new model. . .
