Re: Windows Fundamentals and the Huawei E220 (I'm with 3)

I had to settled for W2K.

Works great with the E220 (on the 3 network).

Re: Windows Fundamentals and the Huawei E220 (I'm with 3)

I have compiled all the files and registry as per nekromantik's post.  Could someone try this out and let us know if it works?

Unfortunately all of us that have tried this with FLP have been unsuccessful. While it is good to have compiled nekromantik's instructions they have not been found to work with FLP. They do work (as several can attest) in activating/adding DUN to a Windows XP Home or Pro installation which inadvertantly had DUN nlited out. But fixing DUN in FLP is a completely different issue as many of us have found out.

Re: Windows Fundamentals and the Huawei E220 (I'm with 3)

im thinking that we are getting very close to resolving this. is it possible that these additions are successfully enabling DUN support, but the drivers for the devices are not standard drivers so the inf files need to be prepared on a native xp pro machine to get them to install correctly on a winFLP install.  We need to use the winflp inf import utility   http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta … structions

or possibly Windows Component Designer and follow the instructions on this video  (actually made for this similar issue on windows embedded)
http://www.sjjmicro.com/Video_INF_Import_Issues.html

Im going to test this out with my Pantech UM175 and I will report my results.
