I love the little messenger program but for some reason i cant seem to get the sounds to work at all, all the other sounds work such as movies and mp3 so whats the deal? I looked over the settings in pidgin and test dont even work. Anyone have an idea on what my problem is?

Press Ctrl+P to go to Preferences
Then select Sounds tab
In Sound method section,
Method, select Command
Type "aplay -q %s" in Sound command

Works perfectly thank you, im new to a linux OS and so far i love how smooth it runs on my eee pc. I just need to learn the basics on scrips for it.
