Eek@the ImageBanana logo*24.
Is the xx_hi.png one necessary? Is it used when there is no icon for whatever theme being used?
Made two new icons for eternal lands, better than my previous one. A normal and a blue version:
Normal: http://www.symptomz.com/761EeeternalLandsIconA.zip
Blue: http://www.symptomz.com/994EeeternalLandsIconB.zip Edit: I don't recommend using this one with the Blue, "Accessibility," theme. ![]()
And one for Starsiege: Tribes.
http://www.symptomz.com/536TribesEeeIcon.zip
I've added all three to the wiki.

Hiya,
Does anyone have an enlarged FBReader icon suitable for Easy Mode?
I'm trying to make my own but just resizing pizelates the largest png I can find so before I try and recreate this from scratch I wondered if anyone already had one?
Thanks in advance.

Here's some I've just made for gftp. I guess I'll have to make FBReader ones myself then eh? (I'm new to Gimp I suppose it's a good learning exercise
)
These are based on 120x120 but shifted up (the default icons on my UK 2G are 130x130 shifted up, but the blank backgrounds are 120x120 - I'm confused. Anyway, the basic png is there too if you want to remake them to suit your needs).
Edit: Redone at 130x130 (see following posts)

It seems that the original ones were 120x120 but then first the European ones became 130x130 shiftred up and one of the aspects of the recent Asus update was to give us all new icon settings.
If someone can devise a script that can size up all 120x120 by adding to the sides and bottom, that would be really cool.

I see, thanks Niel.
I tried the 120x120 shifted up they work okay on mine. But I suppose I should update them for completeness...
Does anyone have 130x130 base backgrounds?

You could probably just scale up the 120x120 ones

I tried that and the 1px border went funny. I'll have to scale it up without the border and then do the border manually. I was hoping to avoid if someone had already done it. But then I could have already done it by now ![]()
Okay then, if you want them. Basic backgrounds resized to 130x130.

It's probably better to do all icons 130 shifted up now then is it? Is that going to be universal?

Not very happy with these but sadly my Gimp skills are not yet up to redrawing it from scratch. Will do for now pending a better version.

@ SteveLawUK
Thanks for those.
As to whether 130x130 is now universal???

This may not be the best thread for this, but I couldn't find a better one and just wanted to show off a little. I'm quite chuffed ![]()
My EeePC has been "Tango'd!" (The astute observer may notice that not all icons are exactly within the Tango specs (some I just couldn't find and had to make myself) - I have also added a different drop shadow to them all from the standard Tango style, I think this looks a bit better in the Easy Mode). ![]()

That does make easy mode look quite appealing, SteveLaw. Any chance you'd care to upload them as a pack and share? :p We could make a section in the wiki page for icon packs. ..Unless you feel like uploading each individually.

I can probably do that.
Here we are. simpleui.rc included (but it includes only en labels and only those programs shown).

SteveLawUK, thanks for uploading these icons. I've made some of my own over the past several weeks (simple ones for Open Office, Audacity, etc.) -- a few of which turned out OK, others that didn't. But these are great. I've already added several to my Easy Mode desktop -- changes the look completely, and for the better.

Yes, I'm very happy with them ![]()

Actually you know I really enjoyed making that set and it's still incomplete I know as I made it for me so any requests to flesh it out?

With some help from SteveUK's Tango icons (and other posts on this thread), along with a few icons I created, I finally have my Easy mode desktop looking better. Here are shots of the Internet, Work, and Media tabs. I haven't done much to the Settings tab yet.

Updated the pidgin one to 130x130 and a new eog one (eog is a nice replacement to whatever they have on there to start with, it feels much lighter and takes up less screen).

My first attempt at creating icons for my Eee PC ... here are some 130x130 TrueCrypt icons:

I'll see what I can do.
Erm, I just read something that suggest Mozilla don't allow edited logos... Maybe I shouldn't post those then? Anyone know?
