Cool, thanks for the screen shot stev.  Looks identical to Lazertags but seems easier to install if i'm correct.

Re: 1024 x 768 Native Hacked Driver (No Scrolling)

I tried this just now and it works great, but after nlite'ing XP, I cannot increase the DPI to 120... any suggestions? And, is it possible to get it to do a widescreen resolution instead of cramming a standard res on a wide-screen?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

And that screenshot is nice, but it doesn't show how it looks on the Eee, it just shows that it is working. But how clear is it on yours? Is it scrunched?

This is IEDG.

The same as LT's Driver.

The main Problem is suspend. It's not solved now. The problem is occurred by Driver.

It's not native Driver. It just for Embedded XP.

Re: 1024 x 768 Native Hacked Driver (No Scrolling)

How hard is it to have the option to turn scrolling on or off? All I want to do is enable scrolling or not, on the fly. It seems like it should be simple enough to do. I don't have the programming skills, but someone who does, it seems like it should be pretty straight forward.

kkjj's utility has issues. Even when checking the "enable scaling" it doesn't always do it. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Re: 1024 x 768 Native Hacked Driver (No Scrolling)

Here's an update after some real-world usage today (keep in mind all of this is under Vista):

Clone function is not working

Advanced Display properties do not properly adjust between LCD and external CRT

With Font DPI increased (possibly also occurs with default DPI) many text elements are not rendered properly and windows have to be moved for the text elements to display

ASUS Monitor Swap hotkey (fnct-f5) does not work.

I've since reverted back to the standard drivers... too many issues at current for it to be useful in a work environment.

Yep.  It would appear that it is in fact my IEGD build.  That's pretty lame of StonerKitty to to take someones work and claim for themselves.

@ Stonerkitty

You saying "didn't know about my driver build"??  That's a lie too. In your own video we get to see the path for the Intel modified driver "win2k_xp142550_MODDED_INF" which again is available from my site.  You of course acquired the files from me.

Why not just go download IEGD from Intel and actually make a build yourself and release it?

You are lame.  Give credit where due next time or really do it yourself.

LT - make a self installer or something that shows a splash screen. Won't stop anyone who codes but will dissuade those that can't.

This is not a flame just politeness i feel.....

Re: 1024 x 768 Native Hacked Driver (No Scrolling)

Ok guys I am truely sorry. I never actually took credit for MAKING These drivers myself but I did not know who made them Lazertag these are your drivers.

Once again I am sorry and will be giving credit on the howto.

But that being said Lazertag if it is ok with you I would like to work on these drivers and re-release it with some fixes (if I can fix it) that will allow standby..ect...ect

So where did you download them from then?

I know you never said they were yours, but never said they were not either.  I really don't care what you do at this point.  I would prefer that you make note on your site (where again you make it seem like your hack and even note how you made it on Hack-A-Day) to point to the proper link here (in my sig).

I can't stop you from hacking the IEGD build I made, but seems foolish to me to hack a hack to begin with.  I would prefer you go download IEGD from Intel (it's free) and just create your own build.
