I've been following the forum very closely the last week or so. Haven't bought me a EEE yet but that'll happen soon enough 
I actually wanted to ask if anyone has used the asus extended battery accessory? Do we have an official statement on the battery life ? Or better yet, has anyone tested it and counted how long it kept on going?
Apart from that I would like to know how large/heavy the new battery pack is! Googled for some images with the new battery attached to the EEE but didn't find any 
If someone has purchased the new battery pack, it would be nice if he could snap some pix and upload them for our viewing pleasure ! 
Don't know if this has been mentioned before, i did a quick search but didn't find anything (especially about the battery's size and an image to depict it installed on the EEE)

As far as i can tell, you can't even buy them yet.

Theoreticaly the extended battery will last 4.5-5 hours. It has 1.5x the capacity of the standard.

i cant wait for its availability. Generally, the slower you discharge a battery, the higher its capacity. So if they double the amp-hours, you should see more then a linear 2x the battery life. I am eagerly awaiting this upgrade! Asus, make this happen!
