I think these are all legal, so here's the torrent link:

Edit:
I hate wallpapers with text. If I want text, I will add it myself. It's utter hell to remove, though.

SirWilliux,
You can download the pictures by right-clicking on them and using the 'save image as' option. Then copy the picture from where ever you saved it to the /usr/share/wallpapers directory. Then, you can select it from the 'display properties' dialog (press right-click on the bare desktop and select 'properties'.) In the Background box, select 'Picture' and then select your picture from the dropdown list. You will probably have to scroll the window to get to the Apply and OK buttons at the bottom right.

Dumb question time... I still haven't figured out how to get to the bare desktop. I click on "show desktop" in the lower left hand corner, but still can see only my icons. What am I missing? Never mind that it says I have no permissions to copy anything into /usr/share/wallpapers. First things first!

Cheers to 'Schizo' who referenced http://wiki.eeeuser.com/howto:getkde on another thread.
Despite a brief fling with Red Hat, which was a bit beyond me, I am not a Linux person. These instructions, however, were pretty clear and I ended up with what I am more accustomed to seeing when I turn on a computer, with an easy way to get back to the basic interface.

I have posted my wallpapers I made. I didn't make the background, it was edited at first to be subtle, less 3d, and more etchy, also I used Hue/saturation to make it more blues and greens instead of reds and oranges. Then I sized it for the Eee and did some other edits. Yes they have "Eee PC" on the bottom, but it goes well, I think. Right click, view image in order to see their full size:

Personally, I use and like the second one.

I am in advanced desktop mode. I have saved the image to my desktop and went into file manager. I set to show all folders, and get down to usr/share/wallpapers, but it won't let me move, copy paste into that directory. Don't have permissions to write to my own folders?
what am I doing wrong, or need to do?
Thanks, kinda new to linux..

Sometimes files can be downloaded as something higher than user. Perhaps try moving it as root. If it still denies access as root, then something is wrong. Root holds the highest access power for anything. That's why they tell you not to use root unless necessary.

Thank you for the reply, now hanging my head in shame, I don't quite understand. So I right click on a picture from a website and save to desktop. Then I open file manager, and cannot move picure files to the wallpaper folder. How do I move them as "root"? How do i download as something higher than root.?

I managed to get the image as my wallpaper by saving it to /home/user and from there I just right-clicked the image icon and clicked "Set as wallpaper" and it worked. I had been trying to copy and paste to /usr/share/wallpapers/ but it wouldn't give me the option. Eventually I decided I'd just give clicking "Set as wallpaper" a shot and it worked. Hopefully that makes sense and helps!
Also, thanks for the wallpapers kroff, they're great.

Thanks, that worked, also realized I could set right from saving desktop. Only downside is you can not select them from control center>display this way.

Warning to the younger users here - at least two images (haven't gone through them all) involve nudity - it's tasteful, but just so you know.
