Here's a few shots of my freshly painted 1000he, I couldn't keep myself from sharing to everyone. Although I'm a little pissed because my roommate just dropped something on it and scratch the heck out of it *sigh* guess another repaint will be in the works? Anyways, hope this strikes some inspiration into the hearts of fellow modders and hackers.

That's a really good job. I like how the yellow on one of the rings sprays out a little bit, it looks like it's glowing

I am also curious about the glossy screen.
Also what have you used for paint? It looks textured in the close-up shot of the ubuntu sticker

That is because it is entirely painted, excluding the matte sections of the plastic on the case. The black paint used was black textured rustoleum and yellow gloss rustoleum.
There is no touchscreen just a screen protector although I think I might take it off once the touchscreen comes in b\c it reflects so much light and defeats the purpose of a matte screen!
