Does anyone know how to set a custom resolution in Wormux? When I open it it only seems to want to do 800x600, but that'll make things fairly unplayable. If anyone knows how, please share.

Request: Diablo 2
As soon as I get my 3e in the mail I'll try my hardest to get it running Diablo 2.Diablo 2 Works awesome, just use the video drivers from: http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=5510
I only reccomend this method to be done by people who know what they are doing. It looks like using this driver is the only way to play Diablo 2 in fullscreen on the eee.

as far as I know, RTCW ET was an xp only standalone mod.
Nope. It has a linux native version. (and the Windows one also runs on Windows 2000 too depending on how pedantic we want to be
)

I don't believe that RTCW was linux compatible in the first place., face it. there is just not a large eoguh userbase to make linux games. If your a mmanager would you build a product used by only %10 of people and no-one else? or spend more money for that %10 (or lower)?
not me.
RTCW also has a native Linux version.... and thankfully ID software don't share your views. Check out http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/

the linux native version of ET should work as well, dunno about sound. i had trouble with sound even on my desktop with ubuntu. the windows versions of ET and RTCW work though.
I'll have to try it out when I get my hands on my EEE PC at Christmas... Sound can be a royal PITA with the Q3 games on Linux, but it depends on the sound card/hardware. I've had all the Q3 Engine games running well on Ubuntu with a Soundblaster, unfortunately that's not what's in the EEE PC.

yeah...i had realtek sound on my mobo on my desktop. could never get the sound to work with it. but with OpenSUSE, both ETQW and ET worked fine. almost forgot i tried that distro. frankly i think its way better than ubuntu is. but thats just me.
