The 'Does this game work in Windows' Thread

http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/7546/asuseeegamesxo5.gif
I made this thread so that people can request other posters to test games on the eee and see if they can work.
The Official 'Playable Games on the EEE' Thread seems to be cluttered with people asking if a certain game works.
Id like this this thread to be used exclusively for requests and confirmations.
If you find out that a requested game does work you should post info, pics etc. there
Only give the info the requester wants, or even better, give a link to the post in that thread.

Re: The 'Does this game work in Windows' Thread

wolfenstein enemy territory works.  and since that works, RTCW works as well.  you just need to follow instructions over at the widescreen gaming forum to have it run at native resolution

Seconded.
I'd especially like to know how well it plays under wine on the EEE.

as far as I know, RTCW ET was an xp only standalone mod.

I don't believe that RTCW was linux compatible in the first place., face it. there is just not a large eoguh userbase to make linux games. If your a mmanager would you build a product used by only %10 of people and no-one else? or spend more money for that %10 (or lower)?

not me.

From the C&C Decade DVD version -Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge both work in XP, and you can create a 800*480 resolution.

Command and Conquer Gold works great on xp. EA has released the full game to download for free. Have it working with Daemon Tools. Be sure to use the xp patch though.

Yep, XP Pro.

Also, Cube2 (Sauerbraten) runs at 60FPS on XP, also at 850MHz

Re: The 'Does this game work in Windows' Thread

rollercoaster tycoon 2 runs great at the native res.

i also need to add Project 64 which is an N64 emulator runs ok.  game speed kinda depends on the game.  mario kart 64 ran well, goldeneye not so much, though i haven't tried goldeneye at 846MHz.
