eee-control + intrepid = volume problem?

i've installed intrepid, apt install adam kernel lean, an after all the updates eee-control...
it's awesome for all the functions except for the volume control related to the  FN+F10/11/12 keys, those keys don't work....
i don't know if this bug is related to the kernel, intrepid, or something else... but i really miss this function.
i'm wondering if installing the elmurato scripts can fix this and if their script can live along eee-control...
maybe there's another solution?

Do you have your mixer set to the right device? (Now, I don't know which device that would be for your setup. Just that having it wrong or unset can cause the volume controls to fail.)
