Like the title says, post your 800x480 backgrounds or wallpapers suitable for use with IceWM, KDE Advanced Desktop, Ubuntu, Windows or whatever other OS you are running! Let's see how creative you can be with this limited screen real estate.

For the Xandros easy mode you don't really want 800x480 images either, as the background is scaled to fit between the top and bottom menu bars. The image should be approximately 800x422 to avoid scaling. (I can't measure accurately with mpaint.)

I was playing around in Photoshop late last night and made something a little trippy.

Here's a wallpaper image I made from a photo taken at a friend's retirement last year from the Marines at Camp Pendleton. Just as the ceremony concluded, a squadron of Cobras was coming back from a deployment in Iraq, and I was lucky enough to get some really great photos of their formation flying. This is a crop of one of the photos.

Hey there, I noticed you said you didn't have an accurate measurement of the bkg settings. Using photoshop, I got 800*423 thats also the size I use for my Eee PC interactive Demo. Your measurement is probably just fine though too.

But that is just for the Easy Mode-WPs, the "IceWM, KDE Advanced Desktop, Ubuntu, Windows or whatever other OS you are running"-measurements are still 800x480.
