Yeah, if it was for me I would have waited for Black too, but the GF loves the Pearl White...

The photos of the black 900 are great but I needed this thing before I head off to Prague for the summer so I made the sacrifice for the white. My GF also love the white so she might be getting this one when the black 900 arrives!

Ordered, and I can barely wait. This is my first buy.com experience, hopefully it will be a good one.

Don't temp me like this! I was at the final page before confirming the purchase before I realized I wasn't getting the black one.  The discount almost got to me.

My Confirmation email came about an hour after I purchased but the order is still in the "processing" phase. I guess it won't be processed and shipped till Monday since I ordered after 4:00 PM

That's okay. I've been lurking on this site for months now; was going to get the 7" but didn't like the screen resolution issue. So decided to wait for the new version. Then I was waiting to find out about the battery issue. Since people who received theirs already from NewEgg indicate that it has the 5800 mAh, decided to go for it before it possibly sold out at buy.com. Did anyone notice this stat on buy.com: Today's Rank: 20 Yesterday's Rank: 2672. Wow. Besides, I realized that 3 years ago today I bought my first laptop. So it made sense to buy another today, right? lol

I'm so excited. My first UMPC and my first all Linux PC--no more dual booting! Plus my first white PC. Should be interesting.

Well now it's monday so we'll see if our orders get shipped. I picked their quickest shipping. I still see that its in stock on their website so hope that they really have inventory and aren't going to just keep the status as "sent to warehouse" forever as some kind of bait and switch preorder. Keep us updated guys on whats happens with your orders.

Well, now my order status has changed from "Sent to warehouse" to "In the shipping process," whatever that means.

I just hope all goes well. I've bought things from them in the past and haven't had a problem, although it's been awhile and it's been "no problem" stuff like books, CDs, etc., not electronics. Now I am looking at sites like resellerratings.com and they don't rate very highly at all: Six-Month Rating:  2.13 / 10; 
Lifetime Rating: 4.32 / 10. I know, I should have done this before I ordered, like I usually do before ordering electronic gear from any vendor for the first time. If I had read these reviews before ordering, I would have probably just decided to wait until New Egg or Amazon got them back in stock. A lot of complaints, including the following:

"Although they are listed as an Asus authorized reseller I do not believe they get stock directly from Asus. Instead they use a network of suppliers to drop ship from their warehouses."

Well, it's too late to worry about it now. I'm just going to assume that the order status change is positive, thet my order will be shipped wirhte today or tomorrow and that it will arrive safely (looking at their FAQ page, it looks as if  items shipped for free aren't trackable which is ridiculous for something this expensive).
