Ah-soose? No way.
Asus was derived from pegasus and should be pronounced as such.

oh well. Have you ever considered you might pronounce PEGASUS wrongly?
It is greek and actually pronounced peg-ah-soos. So the company name of our little toy is really pronounced Ah-Soos, no matter how weird it may sound to americans.

Many brand names are mis-pronounced, examples:
Nokia - is it No (as in no thank-you) kia or naw (as in beavers gnaw on trees) kia? - In Finland it is the the first one (where the company is from.
Mazda - is it Maw (rhymes with gnaw) or mah (as in man without the 'n')? - It's the second.
While we're at it, the last letter of the alphabet - Z - is pronounced Zed by more people in the world than Zee. ![]()

I just call it the E3 :-)

I don't need to pronounce it... I can just type it on my EeePC!

I was calling it "The Eee" for a while. Like the Wii. But I prefer E-PC.
Also "Eh-soose".

I just call it "The E".
