http://www.astrolog.org/ftp/ast54dos.zip
Astrolog 5.40 for DOS <../ftp/ast54dos.zip>: Command line version with interactive graphics. Requires an unzip program to extract the contents. (487K pkzip 2.04 archive.)

You might want to try www.tamedos.com with that. (if you're using XP that is)

For any window code, you can see if WINE runs it by going to
http://www.winehq.org/
-> appdb
-> {search for the code]
In the long run, you are better off running native linux code. Even better run codes that run on multiple OS (like firefox, thunderbird, etc).

This is the program, right?
http://www.astrolog.org/astrolog/astfile.htm
It seems like they have at least source for Unix... if you could get someone to compile it for you, you could run it natively. (And for Windows there already seem to be executables)

If you go to http://freshmeat.net and type "astrology" in the search box the first two programs look pretty good to me - search for a Debian package of either of those and install them

That's brilliant, thanks, just what I have been looking for. New to Linux, so not sure if I am supposed to download all three of them, or if all is contained in the zip file.
All Source Code *tar.bz2
All Source Code *tar.gz
All Source Code *.zip

Yes, astrolog runs under WINE. No problem.
