OK this has probably been already addressed, but I have searched and very little results showed up here.

Anyhoo from the Austrlian Asus website they had posted this
http://www.asus.com....ow.aspx?id=9289

Same warranty not void release from north america.

Looks like its all go ahead for Aussies to rip the sticker!

So, what part of the ASUS post don't you understand???

I upped my Ram as soon as they clarified the issue.

I think skeleton was just posting the information he found, as he hadn't found a thread relevant to Australia on here, in the hope that it would be useful to other people in the same situation as him :)

Neil your indeed correct. Myer had the exclusive on the Eee over here till the 31st so alot more places are stocking them now and that also means alot more new Eee users will be coming here seeing a ton of threads with people saying "it only covers US and Canada" and most probably confuse them. My work gets supplied Eees directly by Asus, of course I knew the warranty buz, i sell the dam things and I gotta know that stuff.

Thank you very much Skeleton!

Time for my HE to get the upgrade.

Kudos man.
