I can confirm that this latest Realtek driver works great with Windows 7. I'm also using it on the 1008HA.

TTexas, just wondering, does this build have the loudness equalization that was also in build 2.18? It's what I've got on my 1000HE running W7 Build 7100. Here's a screenshot.

Same GUI including the Loudness Equalization Checkbox on the Sound Effects Tab.

it lowers your effective sound volume from the tiny internal speakers when you select 'loudness equ.' on the Eee.

Hey, uh, what is up with the realtek website? I cannot connect to it at any level. Does anyone know the name of the Realtek audio driver for the 1000HE so I can find it somewhere else?
