Following the excellent tutorial by Happyhead here http://forum.eeeuser...id=31854#p31854

I've created a couple more icons for use in Easy/Simple Mode. Feel free to use and do add on to this thread with your own contributions! :)

thats awesome, people who use the default install will end up having a better setup than anyone else :)

i had a look a creating a gui program that would easily allow people to visualise and edit the simple.rc xml file, so that anyone could add new buttons without needing any terminal experience at all, but i a new to linux development, so its not something i can just pull out of a hat :p

These are great work.

Any chance I could ask you to do a set for OpenOffice.org Base?

I could not find any on the Eee.

Thanks

Robin

I made icons for the following:
Tremulous

Ettercap
Wireshark
Gimp

I'm feeling kind of lazy so I'm not gonna post em right now - PM me if you want any.

And Thunderbird, please. I am also looking for more grown-up Icons for ooWrite etc, if anyone has done them.

Now I'll just have to install GIMP even though I have no need for it :)

I don't suppose you could get get totally carried away and do ones for the Open Office Suite?
