Yes!
I managed to make this driver from the sources for my Xubuntu installation. I had to change 'vlan_devices' to 'vlan_devices_arrays' in the at_main.c to make it work and then make install. I didn't run it under sudo, so I had to copy the atl2.ko to /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/ubuntu/net/atl2 directory myself. I just copied over the non functioning atl2 driver with this one and now it works.
Let's hope it still works later.
