Hello im installing Windows 7 on my EeePC X101H with all driver i've been downloaded at ASUS Website, but there is something wrong
After requires restart by installing KBFilter and Touchpad driver ; suddenly after restart show warning like this
ASUS ACPI Service
"Missing TouchPad Driver, Touchpad switch hot key is void. Please install TouchPad Driver"
Im already installing driver and windows itself almost 8 time with install and uninstall but still error warning at startup still showing .....
Anybody same experience here ??? Im a need the right driver ???
On ASUS website tells driver are Sentelic .....
Help me !!

i tried looking from google but still can't find this problem. always bring up the message. it's so annoying..
i hv already instal ACPI but no one from the driver fix my problem...
wht must i do for fix this problem???

I dont get it. Did you guys upgrade from the oem? Can you guys tell me what version you went too? 64bit?

Its 32bit version of W7, its not upgrade from OEM ....
ASUS Support tells me to download that driver again ....

Did you install the chipset driver first?
If driver problem then you may have to uninstall completely first. Revo Uninstaller or similar should help.
Or you can try Synaptic driver instead for the TouchPad... seems to work for the X101 anyway...
Alternatively, you may have to remove the keyboard and check to make sure the touch pad cable is properly inserted.

im not upgrade. using windows7 ultimate 32bit.

yes im install the chipset 1st. after that I install the drivers that I donwload from asus site. include synaptic driver for the touchpad.
i try too looking for the ACPI folder but i can't find that. :( please solve this problem. ty

Asus provides Sentelic Touchpad drivers for the X101H, not Synaptic. So you can try going to Synaptic and installing their drivers instead, since that appears to have worked for the X101.
You can also check device manager and see if there are still any unknown or problem drivers?

im uninstall for sentelic, and install synaptic.. it's working!!!
