Hi,
I recently bought an Eee Top from eBay with a strange problem :

When i try to boot to the Windows 7 install DVD from an USB DVD reader it hangs on windows logo / loading bar.
With Ubuntu 10.10 it hangs after "... switching to clocksource HPET".
With XP if hangs on the black screen just before HDD list.
With Puppy Linux it failed to init X but i can access to a console.
With Knoppix it hangs on "USB init ..."

I'm lost ... :-(

I tried to replace the RAM but this has had no effect.

Thanks a lot
Thierry

Finally I found what cause that the boot hangs :

That's the fault of the mini PCI-e controller, if i remove the Wifi card it works like a charm !
I try two differents Wifi cards without success.

What can i try ?
