Age of Empires 1/Rise of Rome no-CD problem

ok i want to play age of empires , but it wont let me play because i dont have the CD to run it (i transferred AOE's via USB drive..) anyone know how to get it to work? or do i need a external CD drive?

(eeePC 701), 8GB SSD, 512MB RAM

you will need a no cd patch.

sorry that website you gave me doesnt have the patch im looking for... im looking for one for Age of Empires 1 and the Rise of Rome expansion...

You will need a NO CD patch, im afraid its against the rules to link you to them on this site, you can face a warning / ban.
so @Dutch - get rid of the link.

Id search it on Google if i were you.

You can also mount the iso of the installation disk.
Do you know how that works?
